System requirements
Before requesting a trial, confirm that your environment meets these minimum requirements:
- SOLIDWORKS 2018 or later
- SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional 2018 or later
PDMPublisher requires SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional and does not support SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard.
Request your free trial
- Open the PDMPublisher trial page in the Blue Byte Systems online store.
- Review the product information and system requirements.
- Select the number of seats that best represents your team.
- Select Add to cart.
- Open your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
- Enter the requested contact and company information.
- Confirm that the product is listed as PDMPublisher (Trial).
- Confirm that the total due is US$0.00.
- Submit the order.

What happens after submitting your request?
After submitting the order, you will receive a confirmation email containing instructions for downloading, installing, and activating PDMPublisher. Install and activate PDMPublisher
After receiving your trial license:
- Install PDMPublisher using PDMDeploy or follow the installation instructions included in your confirmation email.
- Open the PDMPublisher license activation utility.
- Enter or apply the trial license information provided in the email.
- Confirm that the license activates successfully.
- Set up and run your first PDMPublisher task.
