Bookmarks in PDMPublisher

To add bookmarks to exported PDFs, PDMPublisher provides an efficient way to navigate multi-sheet or multi-document files. When enabled, PDMPublisher automatically inserts hierachical bookmarks that match each drawing sheet, making large PDF sets easier to browse and manage.

For example, when exporting a top-level assembly drawing containing multiple sheets or references, each component sheet is listed as a structured bookmark in the resulting PDF. These bookmarks can include variables such as Part Number, Description, or Configuration Name, dynamically retrieved from the PDM vault.

Administrators can fully control bookmark behavior through PDMPublisher’s options, choosing what level of hierarchy to include and how names are formatted.
