PDMPublisher for SOLIDWORKS runs as the free Community Edition with no key. A Premium licence removes the format, reference and row limits. The PDM Professional task is a separate product, licensed per vault.

Open PDMPublisher > License Key inside SOLIDWORKS, paste the key you received at checkout and select Activate. The edition switches immediately; no reinstall, no restart of your profiles.

The add-in keeps working as the Community Edition. Limits apply per operation, for example 5 references per publishing run, and they never expire.
No. PDMPublisher for PDM Professional is a separate product licensed per vault (US$1,499 per vault, per year) with unlimited users. It starts with a free 7-day trial.
No. The add-in runs on any SOLIDWORKS seat. When a local vault view is available it can also use PDM variables, serial numbers and automatic check-in.
